Whether you’re sprucing up your home or business for Spring, Tantone is a valuable resource. We offer recycling services for textiles and electronics and a paper shredding service to help keep your office clutter free without worrying about compromising your company’s or client’s private information.

Did You Know? Some electronics may be classified as hazardous waste! Computer monitors, televisions, circuit boards and other electronics contain heavy metals so they cannot legally be disposed in the trash. Reusing or recycling through Tantone will help ensure that your business complies with the law.

No matter how stained or worn out they are, we can recycle nearly all of your old fabrics here at Tantone. Recycling is the responsible way to dispose of your unwanted items. Don’t throw away old clothing, ripped and worn sheets, towels and rags–we’ll take them (no oil-soaked items, please.) Use the 24/7 drop-off bins located in our parking lot.

Our thrift store is not only a great place to find bargains it is also a way to dispose of things you no longer need or want to store. For smaller items just drop your things by during business hours. We are open from 8:00 A.M to 4:00 P.M. Monday through Saturday. For bigger items like clean working appliances and furniture that is still usable, call us to arrange a time to pick it up. Our number is 417-334-7447. Also, if you have a lot of items, for example if you have several boxes left over from an estate sale and it’s just too much to take in your car, we can arrange to pick up that, too!

We gladly accept donations of clothing, linens, books, textiles, sporting goods and all sorts of housewares. We cannot accept car seats, cribs, mattresses or televisions (our electronics recycling department can dispose of TVs for $20.00).

So let’s get spring cleaning over and done so we can head into summer with nothing to do but hang out at the lake and soak up the warm sun!
